I know how important it is to start therapy without having to wait for insurance paperwork to catch up. That’s why, for the month of November 2025, I’ll be offering a special temporary rate for patients whose insurance I’m still getting credentialed with.

Here’s how it works:

If your insurance is one that I’m currently working on joining, you can start therapy now.

If credentialing with your insurance is still in progress, our self-pay rate will be the same as your usual insurance copay, with a minimum of $20 per visit.

Once I’m officially in-network with your plan, I’ll start billing insurance — and your out-of-pocket cost per visit will stay the same (or lower if your copay is under $20).

Don’t have insurance I’m credentialed with? No problem — you’re welcome to schedule at my self-pay rate of $135 per session.

If you plan to attend regularly, you can save with an 8-visit package for $950.

Switch to ORCA Therapy in Vancouver, WA

Need neuro-focused OT without the wait? Orca Therapy offers advanced care and same-week appointments in Vancouver.

Orca Therapy is accepting new patients in Vancouver and specializes in neurological occupational therapy for adults and teens recovering from stroke, concussion, brain injury, and other nervous-system conditions. We also address basic musculoskeletal conditions including arthritis, tennis elbow/golfer’s elbow, trigger finger, carpal tunnel syndrome, and more.

Unlike clinics focused primarily on hand and orthopedic rehab, Orca Therapy provides 1:1 neurorehabilitation led by the same therapist every week, Megan Shah, OTR/L, with advanced neuro training. We reserve weekly new-patient openings so you can start while motivation is high — most patients get an evaluation within a week.

We handle records transfer, verify insurance, and build a personalized, evidence-based plan on your first visit.

I typically describe my clinical background in four areas:

Hand Therapy: I spent the past two years in a hand therapy clinic treating conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, distal radius fractures, and arthritis.

Neuro Outpatient OT: Most of my experience over the past decade has been in neurological rehabilitation, working with individuals recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, post-concussion syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, and adults on the autism spectrum.

Custom Bracing & 3D Printing: I provide custom thermoplastic and 3D-printed braces, as well as adaptive tools to support safety and independence with ADLs and IADLs.

Vision & Cognitive Rehabilitation: I incorporate functional cognitive, executive functioning, and vision therapy when appropriate—many of my patients have overlapping challenges that benefit from an integrated approach.
