“Megan has been a wonderful therapist for my 86 year-old father in his post-stroke recovery. He has had residual left-sided weakness and she is working with him to heal and regain strength and mobility in his left arm and hand. She is very knowledgeable, experienced and so creative; always finding new ways to challenge and help my dad to continue to heal. We love her positive and helpful attitude and she also has a great sense of humor! She has been mindful and considerate of cost and we so appreciate her working with us at a discounted rate as we wait for insurance authorization. Her practical, down-to-earth approach to occupational therapy and her patients has been a great blessing to us! We highly recommend Megan for any occupational therapy needs you may have!”
“No pressure for Megan, but she is a miracle worker! After nearly 4 months post-concussion with minimal improvement from most of my many symptoms, she took the time to really listen and immediately pin pointed what the issue was. She recommended some strategies and 48 hours after I implemented them, I felt about an 80% improvement. It was unbelievable and I’m still in shock. I went from barely being able to work part-time, to going back to full time without a spike in symptoms in just a few weeks. Megan will treat you as an individual and not a textbook case. She’ll not only listen, she’ll research and make sure she’s truly giving you the individualized care you need for your unique situation. I can’t say enough positive things about her so I’ll just say I’m so grateful she opened up ORCA and offers the services that she does. Thank you, Megan!!!”
“I have had a very positive experience with Orca Therapy, and my therapy sessions I feel like improved my quality of life. I see her for both vision therapy and autism‑related support, and she consistently helps me build skills to cope with challenges. For my binocular vision dysfunction, she provides exercises that feel like games, adjusts activities when something is uncomfortable, and notices my needs even before I say anything. She’s observant, patient, and creative, often finding new ways to make the exercises effective and manageable, and she gives helpful homework to practice between sessions. :)
For autism support, Megan helps me understand my sensory needs, develop soothing techniques, and prepare for different environments. She uses fidgets, puzzles, and calming strategies, and we practice recognizing overwhelm early so coping skills actually work like at stores. This is a big problem for me. She talks about the strengths autistic people have, supports self‑advocacy, and makes even challenging tasks feel approachable—sometimes through games. Her kindness, inventiveness, and ability to adapt each session to what I need make therapy feel uplifting. I’m grateful for the progress I’ve made and the care she puts into helping me thrive.”
If your therapy at another provider has ended, we can help you continue care seamlessly.
